　（一）教学方式单一

　　如今我国虽然实现了教育改革，并很大程度上改善了教学方式，尤其在多媒体教学出现后，我国各个阶段、各个学科的教学质量均有所改善，然而依然有部分教师沉浸在传统教学理念中无法自拔，对于新型教学方式甚至存在排斥的心理。另外，即使应用了新式教学，但评价体系依然沿用传统体系，过于重视理论教学的情况也未得到很大改变，教师与学生之间的课堂互动率也有待提升。上述情况均使得初三英语课堂教学有效性受到影响，此种教学模式下培养的学生，终究难以满足当代社会发展要求。

　　（二）学生对英语有厌学情绪

　　整个初三课程设置和高考科目中，毫无疑问，英语都占了相当重要的位置和比重。学生们功利的来讲，只要是想考上一个好点的大学都必须好好的学习英语。无论学生是喜欢还是不喜欢，都必须对英语予以高度重视。虽然重压之下必有勇夫，但是更多的确是重压之下的失败者，他们都有着内心想学好但是现实很失败的挫败情绪和矛盾的心理。一直都在勤奋学习，但是始终不得门道的自卑。更多的同学是想学好英语，可是又怕别人笑话的畏惧心理，这些心理虽然不同，但是都同样的厌学英语，这严重的影响了英语教学的顺利进行。

　　（三）师资队伍薄弱，教师专业素养不高

　　教师作为课堂教学的引导者和组织者，要充分发挥自身的职能才能保证课堂教学质量，然而，很多初中学校的师资队伍较为薄弱，很多教师自身的职业素养难以满足素质教育的指定标准和需求，极大影响了英语教学有效性。一些初中学校的教师资源十分匮乏，经常出现一个英语教师教多个班的现状，使得英语教师的工作压力增大，无法保持充沛的精力进行英语教学工作。此外，还有些代课教师自身缺乏教学经验，仅仅经过一年半载的培训便上岗教学，发音不标准，竟然给学生带来了诸多的误导。
